DWIHN Appoints Manny Singla as Interim CEO, Begins National Search for Permanent Leadership
The Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN) Board of Directors has appointed Manny Singla as Interim CEO. Singla, previously the Executive Vice President of Operations, will manage the organization’s daily operations alongside the Executive Leadership team. The Board has also established a CEO Search Committee to begin a national search for a permanent CEO, ensuring a comprehensive selection process with the help of a national firm.
Manny Singla's tenure at DWIHN since 2019 has been marked by significant contributions, including his roles as Chief Information Officer, Chief Network Officer, and Executive Vice President of Operations. His efforts have notably transformed the organization's technology landscape, improved staff efficiency, and enhanced access to quality behavioral healthcare in Wayne County. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Singla implemented telemedicine services and launched the MyDWIHN app, connecting members to care via mobile phones.
Singla remains committed to providing holistic and integrated mental health and substance use services in his new role. “We just opened a Crisis Care Center, broke ground on a behavioral health wellness campus, and launched our mobile crisis units. This is just the beginning, and I am humbled and honored to be a part of it,” Singla said. With the endorsement of outgoing CEO Eric Doeh, who expressed confidence in Singla’s ability to lead, the organization looks forward to a seamless transition and the continued achievement of its goals.
